Another racing game in this year's Steam Next Fest, Classic Sport Driving is a time-trial heavy Outrun-esque driver where tracks are generated by hashtag seeds. This game does look quite basic compared to what it's trying to imitate.
Love this game. My buddy and I played it the other night for 8 brutal hours. Miss roadrash but this fills the void.
Glad we all had the same weird experience with that game. I never understood what the point of that feature was. Showcasing the damage model? Distraction from the actual game?

Good game for its price
I was #1 in the world at creating cars for this game. No joke. I was part of a small development team spread across the globe. We created our own demo version of this game with update graphics, tracks and cars. I was responsible for everything concerning the car sounds and handling. I was able to squeeze out some incredible stuff from this old game engine - things it was never meant to be able to do, suchbas seperate on- and off-throttle sounds for example. Our founder (Toon Kersten) even presented our demo to Spyker Cars in the Netherlands. Ibwas rhe co-founder b.t.w. (Matthias Nyberg). I spent some 5 - 10 000 hours developing and testing cars for this game.
